Fresh vs Frozen

This sourdough whole grain bread includes both cracked rye and cracked blue corn. It is made with organic rye, blue corn, and einkorn flour. From our local production at Pueblo Seed & Food Company, we provide the rye flour which is freshly milled. We also mill fresh the other flours. This sourdough bread is made with filtered water and includes pecans, plums, fennel seed and molasses and makes a wonderful breakfast toast bread or a bread for wine and cheese. 

This sourdough bread weighs 2.3 lbs or a little over 1 kg (thus called the Brick) and has a  4-week shelf-life if refrigerated and a 6-9 month shelf-life in freezer.

Each loaf is packaged in compostable cellophane with label. Fresh loaves have at least a 3-day shelf-life in cool environments <68F. We recommend refrigeration in warm weather since these are very moist whole grain breads that build up condensation. Freezing the loaves after being out is also an option or choosing frozen loaves to sell frozen or thawed. 

All ingredients except for salt are certified organic. 

Wholesale breads are available for purchase at 5 breads per case.
