This is our only sourdough bread that does not contain wheat or rye. While we are not a gluten-free facility, this bread does not include flours containing gluten. The flavor of this bread is fruity and sour and is loved by our gluten-free customers. Sometimes there is a blue corn variation of this bread that has a pink sheen. Some color variability to be expected. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis sourdough bread weighs 2.3 lbs or a little over 1 kg (similar to the Brick) and has a  4-week shelf-life if refrigerated and a 6-9 month shelf-life in freezer.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach loaf is packaged in compostable cellophane with label. Fresh loaves have at least a 3-day shelf-life in cool environments \u0026lt;68F. We recommend refrigeration in warm weather since these are very moist whole grain breads that build up condensation.
